Sunny Beach Taxi is a local taxi and private transfer service based in Sunny Beach (Slanchev Bryag), on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. We drive tourists and residents between Burgas Airport, Sunny Beach hotels, Nessebar, Sveti Vlas, Ravda, Pomorie, Burgas and Varna, every day of the year, at any hour. There are three realistic options. A pre-booked taxi or private transfer is door to door and takes about 30 minutes. Public buses are the cheapest but require a change in Burgas and are awkward with luggage. A hire car makes sense only if you plan to drive during the holiday. For a family arriving at night, a booked transfer is usually the least stressful.

Booked taxis are safe. The problem in the resort is unlicensed cars waiting outside clubs and hotels that charge tourists several times the normal fare. Avoid it by agreeing a fixed price before you get in, or by booking in advance so you know the driver and the price.
Yes. We work every hour of the night and early-morning airport runs are routine for us. Book the evening before so the driver is assigned, and we will be outside at the agreed time.
About 30 minutes in normal conditions. In July and August, on Saturday changeover days and in the late afternoon, allow 45 to 50 minutes. For departures we build that margin into the pick-up time we suggest.
The Old Town is about 4 km from the centre of Sunny Beach, roughly a 45 to 50 minute walk along the coast. It is pleasant in the evening but hard work at midday in August or with children, and a taxi covers it in about 10 minutes.
Yes. Varna Airport is about 95 km from Sunny Beach, roughly an hour and a half. It is a common route for guests flying out of Varna rather than Burgas, and we quote it as a fixed price like any other transfer.
Tipping is not obligatory in Bulgaria. Rounding the fare up is common and appreciated, but the price you were quoted is the price you owe.
